I haven't try it. the winter season was over. Delivery was so late that's why I missed the ski season on Febrary. but that looks like nice jarket. I will try it next year.

I like the jacket, hate the zipper.

Zipper sucks. I like the feel, look, and warmth of the jacket. The pockets are great too. However the first unzip jammed. Was able to fix it, but annoying and best. At worst, haven't decided yet if I will return based on this. If it heralds less fixable issues down the road, doesn't matter how warm the jacket is if I can't zip it up.

411 on insulation

I bought this jacket (blk/wht) to replace a Helly Hanson jacket I used for many seasons snowboarding. Love the color pattern, it's easy to pick out in a crowd. One thing I wasn't sure about with the jacket was the insulation difference vs. my old jacket. For people who are more warm blooded in the winter time this jacket may not be for you. The jacket was more insulated. With 30 degree + days I wear a light weight thermal short sleeve with the pit zips half open. By the way the pit zips work great and don't jam half way on you when trying to close. On 25 degree days I wear a long sleeve light weight thermal and a midweight for lower temperatures. I'm 5'8 and a buck 65. Overall I'm very pleased with the jacket, it is a bit long in the waist though hence the 4 stars. This product has exceeded my expectations and I will recommend the brand if people inquire.
