      Warm jacket-excellent price

Really nice warm coat. I live in So. CA so it does not get as cold as some places, but evenings r damp n chilly. This jacket keeps me toasty warm n is wind n waterproof to the best I can tell. Color is nice n bright.

Decent ski jacket work for regular winter warmth

Purchased the Mountain Waterproof Ski Jacket, size medium for women. I am a small lady, 5'2", 115 lbs. The jacket was loose fitting as expected so I can wear layers. The hood is far too big, does not wrap snugly around the neck. The price was good, the color accurate. Below are pros and cons.

      Pros:
Quite loose. But I do wear a few layers. It is then warm.
Color (purple) is accurate to pictures
      Waterproof-ish zippered pockets
      Price is VERY reasonable

      Cons:
It is NOT waterproof. It IS water-resistant.
As with every hooded coat ever made the hood is HUGE; you could wear a motorcycle helmet and still put the hood up/on.
The "elastic cuffs with stretchable thumb holes" are not comfortable, they ran a bit short even for my short arms
      It IS wind-resistant.

Overall, the jacket is a good purchase.

      Sleeves too short

I like everything about this jacket except the sleeve length is quite short.

      Decent for Price

This is a good jacket if you infrequently are in the snow. It’s a bit of an awkward fit, on one hand it feels like it runs large and on the other hand it feels like it fits small, like in the arms/armpit area. It’s a bit boxy but it is warm. I don’t like whatever the pockets are lined with, feels like that cheap costumey micro fleece stuff that when you have dry winter hands it feels horrible. I appreciate the snap band inside to secure when doing winter sports. The hood is weird. It’s huge and the position is just off. I ended up taking it off (it is removable). I would say it’s not a jacket that if you plan to do lots of skiing/boarding/snowshoeing etc. will be comfortable or hold up. But, if you’re say, going on one ski trip and live in a cold area and don’t mind a boxy fit, and don’t want to spend a lot of money, then it’s a good jacket for the price.
